Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home, in Waterloo on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 89.

Devoted and loving mother of Dan and Jamie Sutter, Cindy and Paul Brash, and Penny and Dan Steeves. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her sister Janice and Dennis Schul, eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph Sutter (1999), brother Stan Shantz and parents Myrtle Wagner and Garfield Shantz.

Betty was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo and Northside Baptist Church, Kitchener.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, August 8, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, August 8 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.  An interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
