Obituary of Lois Morgan

Peacefully, at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Monday August 4, 2025, at age 92.

Beloved wife of the late Howard Morgan and mother to the late Christine. Loving mother of Dan (Brenda) of Brampton, and Patricia (Susan) of Kitchener.  Adored grandmother of Erin (Dan), Heather, Judi (Jeff), and Thomas (Lindsay).  Cherished great-grandmother to Vivian and Chanelle.

Fondly remembered by brother Carmen (Florence), sister Lyla of Mount Forest, sister-in-law Shirley of Belleville, son-in-law Steve, (Asha), and numerous nieces and nephews in both the Noble and Morgan families.

Lois was predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Christena Noble of Minto Township, Wellington County.  Also predeceased by five brothers (Wilfrid, Lawrence, Ivan, Stanley, and Raymond) and two sisters (Myrtle and Doris).

Family and friends will remember her as a sweet and wonderful gramma, caring neighbour, and devout crossword puzzle solver. While Palmerston was always her ‘up home’, Waterloo Region was where she and Howard raised their family, many of those years spent in the little green house on Norman Street.  Lois was a longtime member of the First United Church in Waterloo. She often enjoyed walking and shopping downtown in hopes of running into family or friends. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.

Much gratitude to the staff at Lisaard House Cambridge and the 7th Floor of Waterloo Regional Health Network at Queen’s Blvd., formerly known as St. Mary’s General Hospital Kitchener, for their compassionate, professional care and for making her as comfortable as possible through her last weeks.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Lois with her family at the Erb & Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S.
