Chun Ying Ting passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Waterloo Regional Health Network - Queen’s Boulevard.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Chung-Ho and Judy Ting, Chung-Lie and Liyan Ting, Chung-Ping and Meihua Ting, her grandchildren and their spouses: Angela Ting and Andy Ho, Leslie Ting and Derek Hamers, Florence Ting and Ambrose Chan, Ace Ting and Katrina Stankiewicz. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren: Jordan Ho, Naomi Ho, and Timothy Ting-Chan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hsin Ting, and her two brothers.
Chun Ying Ting, born on January 13, 1930, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a central figure in the early lives of her four grandchildren, nurturing them with love and care. As an ordained pastor, her ministry work extended across Taiwan, South Korea, the USA, and Canada. In retirement, she continued to serve faithfully through the senior group at Kitchener Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church. She was a woman of unwavering Christian faith.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place following the service at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
