Obituary of Ingeborg Irma Brandt
Ingeborg passed away in hospital in her 87th year with loving family at her side on Monday, August 11, 2025.
Mom will be sorely missed by six of her eight surviving children. Oma will be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Inge was predeceased by her parents (Hans and Irma Schneider) and her brother Peter Schneider, as well as her two sons, Timothy and Dieter.
Survived by her six other children Gerhard Brandt, (Blackfalds, Alberta), Eva Dippel (Kitchener), Micheal Brandt (Cambridge), Reynold Brandt (wife Loriann, Wroxeter), Deborah Brandt (Stratford), and Abigail Brandt (Northbay). Also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Inge enjoyed her gardening and her plants, so she will be looking forward to being resurrected in the paradise where there will be an abundance of plants to take care of. (Isaiah 65:21) Even when she moved from her apartment to the nursing home, she made sure her plants came with her. She also enjoyed her crossword puzzles. Mom’s hospitality was known to many and she loved to cook and bake for everyone.
What she enjoyed most was when family and friends came to visit her. That was evident near the end when she was in the hospital, she had family and friends visit and she kept her humour up to encourage us, probably more then we encouraged her, thus was the spirit of our Mom.
We would like to take this time to thank the staff that took very good care of our mother and grandmother at Winston Park home and WRHN.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be given at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 355 Gage Ave, Kitchener on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
Condolences for the family or donations may be made to JW.ORG toward the worldwide work.
