Obituary of Joyce Moyer

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at AgeCare West Williams, Kitchener. 

Joyce is survived by her children Brenda Klee (Ulrich), Karen Thiel, Katherine Schrader, and Robert Moyer (Laura). 

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law Marlene Lennox. 

Joyce also has many cousins in Scotland and nieces and nephews in USA and Canada. 

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Robert (1982), parents William and Jessie Lennox, and her 7 brothers and sisters.  

Joyce was born in Toronto and worked at Eaton’s there until she met her future husband and moved to Kitchener. They married on Sept 16, 1950, settled down, and had their 4 children.  She then went to work at Eaton’s Kitchener until retiring at 65. 

Special thanks to the nurses and staff at AgeCare West Williams.  

Joyce also enjoyed her later years living at Sandhills retirement residence, where she attended all the social events there, and made many close friends 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, August 15, from 6-9pm.  The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11am, followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
