I had the pleasure of going to school and playing football with Gary.
His high top black shoes almost covered the dress socks he wore to every game and practice.
That look and the enthusiastic way he played led to his nickname “Wild man from Borneo”.
His humour kept all of us become better teammates and more importantly, better people.
