Obituary of Klaus Ertle
Klaus passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born in 1937 in Tegernsee, one of the most beautiful villages in Bavaria, Klaus emigrated to Canada as a young man and used his talents in printing to make his way in the world and establish his Allprint Ainsworth Company in Kitchener/Waterloo.
Klaus was both a gentle man and a gentleman, always kind in his thoughts and manners.
An avid sailor in his day, keen tennis player, and faithful neighbourhood walker, Klaus was never happier than when in the company of his many good and faithful friends that he enjoyed over the years.
Staying in touch with his hometown was important to Klaus. He and Franzi enjoyed many trips back to their roots in Tegernsee, and to the warmth of family ties there.
Klaus leaves behind his beloved wife of 37 years, Franzi; and a niece and nephews in Germany and Canada.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends and colleagues are invited to gather at a celebration of his life at Westmount Golf & Country Club, 50 Inverness Dr., Kitchener, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
