Obituary of Scott Louis Arnold

Scott Arnold left us late Monday night, September 8th, 2025, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife, Faith Levene, daughters Elise and Arielle Arnold-Levene, and sister Pam Arnold.

Scott was born in Chicago and moved to Waterloo in 1969. He taught Cultural History at the Architecture Dept. and the Integrated Studies Dept., University of Waterloo.

Scott learned hand bookbinding and became the conservator of the library at the Seagram Museum. His passions were politics, world music, collecting Dansk pepper mills, and laughing heartily with friends over gourmet dinners which he prepared himself.
