Obituary of Patricia Helen Herzog
At the age of 85, Patricia died peacefully in her sleep at WRHN at Queen’s Blvd, on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Proud and loving mother to daughters, Wendy (Mike Kelly) and Lori Madden. Absolutely in love with, and loved by, her grandchildren, Kristin Kelly, Liam Kelly, Brynne Madden and Ben Madden. Loving sister to Wendy Nix, Ken (Cathy) Nix and sister-in-law Karen (Dave) Kowalski, and aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Bill (William) Herzog (2005), her parents Helen and Robert Nix, and sister Barbara Pitcher.
Pat lived a wonderful life. She travelled, spent time with her family, and doted on her grandchildren. She loved to play bridge and continued to play her entire life. She worked early on as a Court Reporter and later as a secretary in the Disclosure area of the Crown Attorney’s office in Kitchener. She volunteered her time at her girl’s schools early on and was an active volunteer at the May Court Shop. She loved to read and avidly watched golf, tennis and the Kentucky Derby. Pat loved a good glass of wine and a piece of chocolate. She was an incredibly generous person, with her time and resources, and she made an unbelievable difference in the lives of her children and grandchildren.
The family welcomes you to join in a Celebration of Pat’s life at the Westmount Golf and Country Club, 50 Inverness Dr., Kitchener, on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the KidsAbility Foundation with a designation to the Bill and Pat Herzog Endowment Fund, or Community Living Cambridge may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.
Loved by all, forgotten by none.
