Obituary of Alan Mark Sosnoski

With heavy hearts, the Sosnoski family shares the passing of beloved brother and uncle, Alan Mark Sosnoski. Always a fighter, Alan fought hard against aggressive lymphoma. He died peacefully on September 23, 2025.

He will be missed by his brother, Terry (Elizabeth), and sister, Lynn, and his nieces and nephews (and great nieces and nephew). Predeceased by his loving father, Frank, mother, Shirley, whom he cared for many years, and eldest brother, David.

We are forever grateful to the team at WRHN - Midtown (Grand River Hospital) 6th floor oncology wing and the Chemo Suite for the care provided, making him feel safe and for giving him 3.5 extra years with us.

In lieu of flowers, please donate blood in his honour at your local Canadian Blood Services. Thank you to those whose previous donations gave him more time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lynn's home on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
