Obituary of David William Hatch

Passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 with his beloved Fran by his side.

Loving husband of Frances. Devoted father of Cindy Pierson (Garith), Chrissy Hatch and David Hatch.

Cherished Grandpa of Jaden, Quinlan, Emerlyn, Maelynne, Brailwyn, Fairyn and Adley. Also survived by his sister-in-law Linda.

Predeceased by his parents, Stanley Hatch and Alice (nee Gilson), sister Patricia Hamer and his beloved brother and best friend, Richard Hatch.

David served with the Royal Canadian Navy, and was a member of the Waterloo Legion Branch 530.

Following his service in the military, Dave began his adventure in sales. He began selling Fuller Brush products with his father Stan. They had a friendly competition daily and were the top sales reps in Canada.  Following that he went on to the automotive industry where he enjoyed a 40-year career selling cars. Dave was a successful and well-liked salesperson. He enjoyed his career and looked forward to socializing with his business, golfing and Legion friends.

In keeping with Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held.
