Surrounded by his family, on November 11, 2025, Dr. Jay-Jay Weiler went home to his Heavenly Father. His loved ones held his hands through his final moments, sending him off with peace, gratitude, and profound love.

Born on July 4, 1973, in Kitchener, Ontario, to Charlie and Barbara (née Giesler) Weiler, Jay spent his life in the community where he was raised. Throughout the years, he formed deep and lasting connections with those around him, becoming a cherished friend and familiar presence within the Kitchener-Waterloo community.

Jay’s presence fills every corner of the world he built. Every space he touches carries the marks of his warmth, humour, and curiosity—from the kitchen counter to the basement with half-finished projects, from his favourite red tractor seat to his office where he balanced work, laughter, and a touch of mischief.

Jay is a man of deep devotion—to his faith, his family, and his calling to care for others. As a husband, he is Sara-Lynn’s constant companion and trusted partner, steadying her ambitious spirit with patience and love. As a father, he gives his children— Hannah, Cayla, Annika—a life rich with laughter, wisdom, and the security of knowing they are completely loved.

Professionally, Dr. Weiler touched and saved countless lives. His patients and colleagues know him as a man of compassion, integrity, and quiet strength. He gives freely of himself, never seeking recognition, only hoping to leave people better than he found them.

While those who love him feel the deep ache of his absence, they also feel the joy of having known him. His family takes comfort in knowing he has not truly gone—only stepped behind the veil—his spirit living on in the everyday moments that remind them of his love and his faith in our Lord.

Jay’s life is a testament to kindness, service, and unwavering faith. His legacy endures in the people he helped, the family he nurtured, and the countless lives he made brighter across the entire world simply by being himself.
