Obituary of Larry Edward Lobsinger

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the age of 82.

Larry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen Lobsinger (nee Fischer) of 60 years, sons Bishop Wayne Lobsinger, Kevin (Lee Ann) Lobsinger, and Kieth Fischer (Christopher Sikora). Loving Grandfather of Faith (Toufigh), Ashley and Samantha, and survived by two brothers, a sister, and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ed and Kay, sister Patricia McInnis, and his granddaughter Abigayle.

Larry was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. He volunteered with Minor Hockey for over 40 years, and with Minor Fast Ball for 20 years.  For 10 years, he also served with Civil Defense Search and Rescue.

Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Thursday, November 27, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with parish prayers to be offered at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener, on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
