Obituary of Kathryn Ann Ward

Kathy was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the age of 78.

Deeply missed by her husband Glenn Ward, and lovingly remembered by her daughter Larissa Ward, brother Paul Weigel (Susan), niece Melissa Weigel-Kulick (Brian), grandnephew Samuel, and her dear cousin Gordon Watts (Sue Anne). 

Kathy was predeceased by her father Herb Weigel and mother Dorothy Kelterborn, and her dear cousin Gladys Hollinger Watts (Donald McKillican).

Born in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Kathy graduated from Elmira High School and the Stratford Normal School, then received her Masters of Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. She taught in Brantford before moving to Waterloo, where she taught primary school for 35 years. Kathy was a woman of strong faith, and a beloved member of her church, Jubilee Stratford.

Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will take place at Jubilee Stratford Church, 707 Downie St., Stratford, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
