Obituary of Theresa "Terry" Laureen Tittle

Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Nithview Long Term Care, New Hamburg.

Beloved mother of Tom Tittle (Shaunah) and Patt (Bob) Miller. Loving grandmother to five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her loving husband Buster (2016), her parents Rose and Henry Hauck, her siblings, and her cherished walking companion Sammi.

She graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Kitchener, and enjoyed a long career as a secretary and bookkeeper. For many years, she and Buster delighted in roller skating and ice skating well into their 80s. Her greatest joy was travelling and dancing with Buster.

Terry lived in Waterloo until retirement, after which she moved to Wellesley.

Her favourite hobbies included sewing clothes and afghans, needlepoint, and collecting owls—ranging from statues and pictures to rugs and more.

A special thank you to Karen Gallant and her husband Garry, and Michelle Furman, who visited Terry regularly until her passing.  Heartfelt thanks are also extended to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Doon Retirement Home, Highland Place, and Nithview Long Term Care for the compassion and care shown to Terry in her final years.

Visitation will take place at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
A private family interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
