Obituary of Dave Rola

Dave Rola passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 26, 2025 at WRHN – Queen’s Blvd (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital).

Dave will be greatly missed by his wife Barb, his children Greg and Amy, his brother Jim and his wife Shirley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Dorothy Rola. 

Dave will always be remembered for his infectious smile, laughter and creativity. He was a devoted founding member of the former St Agatha Lions Club. He is also known for his music and karaoke, which brought joy to so many people. Especially to the St. Agatha community where he played his guitar and sang on Sunday Mornings at church alongside his family.

Special thank you to the emergency department staff at St. Mary’s Hospital. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11am at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha with Father Mariusz presiding. Cremation to follow. A Reception will be held at the Church Hall following the mass.
