John was a long-time member of the Pickering Community Concert Band. In addition to playing the oboe, he served as an assistant conductor and contributed greatly through his writing and arranging of music for the band. Although John has not been with us for several years, he is remembered with great fondness. He and Evelyn were cherished and constant members of the PCCB community for many years.
In tribute to John, the PCCB will be making a donation to one of his chosen charities.
