Obituary of Morris G. Frittenburg

Morris passed away peacefully after a brief illness with family by his side on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the age of 94.  Survived by his beloved wife Audrey (MacHattie), with whom he celebrated 64 wonderful years of marriage.

Dear father of Cara Grant (the late Peter Sacharow) and Andrea Zeller (Robin) both of Waterloo. Sadly, missed by his grandchildren Chad (Krissy) and Laura (Wes) Grant, Rachel Dunbar (Jason) and Noah (Natalia) Zeller.

Predeceased by his parents, Annie and Daniel Morris Frittenburg of Hantsport Nova Scotia and sisters Orie Burchell of Halifax, Dorothy Frittenburg of Windsor Nova Scotia, and Marjorie Jardine of Halifax.

Morris was employed by Prudential Assurance Company Limited of England for many years working in various capacities in eastern and central Canada.  Following retirement, he enjoyed travel, volunteer work, and gardening.  Morris cherished time spent with family above all else.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. A reception celebrating the life of Morris, with guests welcome to attend at any time, will follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend the memorial service, the reception, or both.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
