Obituary of Ronald A. Bullock
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Bullock, who died on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Innisfree Hospice in Kitchener.
He was the beloved husband of Chloe Bullock (nee Geelan), and loving father of Claire, Peter, Sarah and Jennifer. He will be greatly missed by grandson Nigel, his wife LJ and great grandson Vincent.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Florence Bullock.
Ron was a professor of Geography at the University of Waterloo. During his long career, he traveled extensively in Africa, China, and the United States. His passion for research continued until his death. He found joy in his hobbies, including photography, gardening, model boat building, and researching his family tree.
A man of principle and integrity, he will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his warmth, compassion and ability to tell a fine tale.
The family extends their sincere thanks to the compassionate staff at Innisfree Hospice for the care and comfort they provided Ron. Thank you also to the doctors and nurses at WRHN at Midtown, Floor 5, D Wing, including a special thank you to Dr. Joseph Lee, for all their support and kindness.
Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Ron’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private interment will take place in the spring.
