Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, age 99.
Born on January 1, 1927, in Kufur Burum, Palestine, Abdullah was in Jordan when the Nakba occurred and, as a result, was denied from returning home to Palestine to see his family. Though separated from them, his unwavering faith kept him strong and hopeful.
He married Fahimeh Dahkour on May 20, 1956, and together they shared nearly 70 years of love and devotion. A devoted father to Aida and Fouad, Abla and Youseph, Nickola and Suha, Nedal and Ruba, Wafa and Fahed, Nader, Emad and Rana, and Issam and Rawan, he was also the proud grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Nadia, Latifa, and Hana, and predeceased by Fawzi, Eid, Saeed, Souad, and Afifa.
Abdullah’s warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. His laugh could light up a room, his stories brought joy to all, and his heart was always open to help anyone in need. He loved deeply, cared selflessly, and cherished every moment with his family. Those who were lucky enough to know him will carry his kindness, humor, and love with them always.
