Obituary of Nancy Rose Markovina

Passed away peacefully at WRHN – Queen’s Blvd., Kitchener (formerly known as St. Mary’s Hospital) on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the age of 83.

Loving wife and best friend of John Markovina, with whom she shared 65 beautiful years of marriage. Cherished mother of Veronica Feldcamp (Kelly) and Marieanne Markovina. She will be fondly remembered by her loving grandchildren, Adam Feldcamp (Christina) and Alexander Feldcamp (Brielle), and by her adored great-grandson, Thomas Feldcamp.

 Dear sister of Ernie, Steve, Anna, Helen, Patricia, Teresa, Frances and Mary.

Predeceased by her parents Elsie (nee Majewski) and John Shopa, her brothers John, Frank and sister Jeannie.

Nancy was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael’s RC Church. She dedicated many years of her life to her work as a hairdresser, a profession she truly loved.

Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 2  - 4 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael RC Church, 80 University Ave. West, Waterloo on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11 a.m., with Father Pawel Jamroz officiating.  Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.  A reception will immediately follow the graveside service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, Waterloo.
