Obituary of Noel Clive Maxwell

Noel Clive Maxwell, born in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland Jamaica, passed away peacefully at home in Milton, Ontario, on Monday, February 9, 2026. Beloved husband of predeceased wife Eartha of 33 years, loving father, grandpa, uncle and dear friend. He is survived by his sister, Gwendolyn Llewellyn.

Noel will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. As co-founder of a pneumatics and hydraulics manufacturing company in Waterloo, he built not only a successful business, but lasting relationships rooted in integrity and respect. His advice was sought by many, and his calm presence brought comfort to all who knew him. In his final years, his biggest accomplishment was becoming a grandpa to his beloved Amelia and actively engaging in and observing each milestone of her life. His generosity and deep love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow the interment in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
