Cranston, James (Jim)

1934  - 2026

Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest LTC home on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Survived by his adopted Family Brigitte(Larry), Grandchildren Kayla(Dave), Natalie(Cody)and great granddaughter Paige and his many Cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Blanche Cranston nee Johnson and James A Cranston.

Jim worked hard to become a chartered accountant. He worked for G&A Masonry in Breslau for over 30years.  Jim loved spending time up north at his uncle’s cottage and Martin & Tina's place. He loved to read the paper, watching sports, golfed with his Mom and friends and the outdoor's. Jim enjoyed our family gatherings and was Loved by all.

Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Tuesday February 24, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Funeral service to take place in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment will follow  the reception at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Breslau.
