Obituary of Kimberlee "Kim" Gondosch

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Mom, Kim. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

Kim is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Rob Gondosch; her daughters Rebecca (Braden), Breanna, and Victoria (Todd); and her beloved grandchildren, Deacon and Brynlee, who lovingly called her G.G. She is also survived by her brothers Brad (Marilyn) and Trevor (late Horracio). She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephew, Julie, Amy, and Eric Lacey, to whom she was a cherished Aunty Kim. Also missed by Michael (Michelle), Robbie (Rachel), Sandra (Landy), and Karin (Tom).

Kim was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Helen Lacey.

Kim will be remembered as a bright light of sunshine. She had an infectious smile and a bubbly personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her optimism and energy were inspiring wherever she went. For over 38 years, she was a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator at Conestoga College, touching the lives of countless students and children. Kim was a proud wife, Mom, and G.G. to her grandchildren and always cherished family time.

She loved spontaneous road trips with her husband, family, and friends, watching the sunset over the water — which she fondly called “diamond hour” — and spending time with those she loved most.

Kim fought a courageous battle with cancer. Special thanks to Dr. Martin Gajewski, Dr. Khulood Murad, and the staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for their care and support.
