Obituary of Shirlee Bovingdon

Shirlee Bovingdon passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge after a difficult battle with dementia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister Sue and her brother Vic. Shirlee was a proud godmother to Steven, David, and Jay, and a beloved aunt to Blane, Terry, David, and Debbie, as well as many extended nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished her.

Shirlee was predeceased by her sister Judy, her brother-in-law Tony, and her loving parents, Hazel and Clarence.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, and the love she shared with her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A private cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Shirlee's Life will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S, Waterloo on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 from 3 - 5 p.m.
