STEFFLER, Urban William
1930 – 2026
Urban passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bridgeview Hall in Miramachi, New Brunswick, in his 97th year.
Urban was born on January 10, 1930, in St Agatha. Urban now joins his wife Kathleen (May) of 69 years. He lived on the family farm and was the youngest of 7 children.
Urban worked at Imperial Tobacco for 25 years. Urban and Kay had a family cottage in Wasaga Beach and enjoyed being there with the family.
They were also able to travel widely, including Hawaii, Venezuela, Barbados, Italy, and Florida
Urban had many interests and was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved bowling. He loved his children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Urban worked hard all his life and, in his later years, was very generous with his large family
The family sends sincere love and appreciation to the Hackett family in Miramichi, New Brunswick for taking our Father into their hearts and lives.

Dear great-grandfather to Stella and Adalynn, Jackson, Kinsley and Harper, Cole Ashton and Addison, Luke B, Victoria and Luke P, Charlotte and Luke L, Emma and Caden. Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass to take place at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St E, Waterloo, Ontario, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. with Father. Phil Reilly officiating. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. A private family interment to take place at a later date.
