Obituary of Monica Mary Balm

November 18, 1970 – March 4, 2026

Monica passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the age of 55.

She is survived by her daughter Saba (Kyle), son Thomas (Lillie), their father Mark, and her grandkids Naiara, Keyana, and Daxton. She is also survived by her mother Mary, and her brother Dan.

She was predeceased by her father Gerald Balm.

Monica was a confident woman, mother, and grandmother who always left a big impression, despite her small stature.

Special thanks to Doctor Tara Somerville, and WRHN’s Social Worker Candace, who went above and beyond to make Monica’s last days as peaceful as possible.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held.
