Obituary of Natalie Fahrer (née Lopes)

November 29, 1969 – March 6, 2026

Passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Survived by her husband Derek, and her children Hannah (JR) and Luke (Evelyn). Her mother, Maria Conceicao, and her siblings, Cidalia (Gus), Alison (Ian), Denis (Leonor), Helen (Michael), Jamie (Lorin), Mike (Jen), and many nephews and nieces.

Predeceased by her father, Ernesto Lopes.

Natalie will be remembered for her amazingly bright smile that was only eclipsed by the size of her heart. She had an immense passion for connecting with children and was always sure to meet them at their level. Whether it be with those children or her many friends and family, she placed great importance on being as invested in them as possible. Always putting others above herself, she took great joy in caring for those around her.

Burial has taken place. A private celebration of Natalie’s life will take place at a later date.
