Obituary of Carey-Lynn Elliott

Carey-Lynn Elliott passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 55, in Kitchener, Ontario, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Aarda Griffeth and John Elliott.

Carey will be missed by her family: her mom Aarda, her sisters Gloria (Don) and Leah (Chad), and her nephews and nieces Jace (Haley) and Ella, Ceilidh, Greyson, Amber (Ross), Sam (Michael), and Colin (Kennedy).

Carey was so loved by the Johnson clan – all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was Auntie’s special angel. They will miss her daily phone calls and updates.

She will be missed by her dear friend Doug Holmstrom.

Carey loved her dog Molly and was an Elvis enthusiast.

Carey enjoyed spending her day in her welcome chair down in the lobby, chatting and visiting with all her apartment friends. She always had the latest gossip from the building and loved all the attention they gave her.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
