Obituary of Helen Mary Tavenor

October 23, 1958 – March 28, 2026

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Arley Tavenor, who was a loving father to Mark Tavenor and Shannon Tavenor. Dear sister of Ron Arseneault, Doris Gilmore (Kirk), Annette Dunbar (Alan), Mike Arseneault (Robin), Susan Galea (Austin), Barb Arseneault, and Jeanette Arseneault.

Predeceased by daughters Alphie and Aldine Arseneault, siblings Doug Arseneault, Linda Richardson, and nephews Kevin Gilmore and Michel Arseneault.

Helen had a heart of gold and the most contagious laugh. She loved being outside, dancing, and cleaning (she never sat still). Nothing can compare to her homemade stew and cabbage rolls. Helen will be remembered for the care and love she gave both her kids, especially Mark, as well as her dog Teddy, and the grandkids that became hers while she was waiting for her own. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Helen’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
