Anna and I were saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. We’d know Ron for close to 40 years and, in the past number of years, grown close to him. We spoke on the phone almost daily and tried to meet with Ron weekly at the Conestoga Mall. Ron always told me what he won on his lottery scratch tickets and it was always a cause for celebration when he came out ahead.
We’re both grateful that Ron’s passing will be marked with the blessings and prayers of the church. Anna and I will be at my uncle’s funeral at the same time as Ron’s memorial service and will be praying that God grant Ron eternal rest.
