Son of Sylvanus & Catherine Shantz, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Survived by Rebecca (Beccy) and Dave Kennedy, Collette and Michael Warriner and Trevor and Caralyn Shantz; 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Clarene (2010), and sons Brent (1968) and Greg (1980).

Allan pastored with the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada in Colbourne, Stayner, Markham and Kitchener; as well as Christian Horizons. His innate ability to build, fix and repair prompted many projects.

Special thanks for the wonderful staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for the care given to our father.

Visitation will take place at Wilmot Centre Church, 2463 Bleams Road, Petersburg, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00pm. Memorial service to take place at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the Church Hall. Allan will be laid to rest at Wilmot Centre Cemetery.
