Obituary of Katy Hirmann

December 3, 1938 - May 3, 2026

Passed away peacefully at The Village of Winston Park on Sunday May 3, 2026, at the age of 87.

Survived by her daughters Doris and Diane and son-in-law Jason, her grandsons Brandon and wife Katlyn, Corey and wife Danielle, and Bryan, her great-granddaughters Hailee, Avery, Mia, and Remi.  

Predeceased by her husband of almost 69yrs John, her parents, her sister, and her son-in-law Randy. 

Katy and John moved to Canada from Germany.  They settled in Waterloo where they raised their daughters. 

Special thanks to the entire team at The Village of Winston Park for their outstanding care during her time there. 

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Katy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Private family interment to take place at Parkview Cemetery.
