My dad Don Kidd and Dave met in kindergarten and were friends their whole lives. Our family story is connected to Dave, Agnes, my Aunt Carol and Sparrow Lake Camp where Mom and Dad met. My condolences to the Livingstone Family. Barb Kidd

Dear Ann, my sincere condolences to you and your family in the passing of your father. I moved into Chippendale in 1988; two weeks before your mom and dad moved in next door to me. I have many happy memories of cocktails and b’cues on our respective patios. Your Dad will be sorely missed by all who knew him, a Gentleman always. Roberta

Sad to read the obituary about David who was a wonderful neighbour both in Waterloo and in the Bruce Peninsula. We moved into Chippendale and discovered we would also be cottage neighbours. We were always happy to have a conversation with him and get his emails, which made us laugh. We'll miss him. Mary Anne Smyth and family

My sincere conolences to David's family and to his dear friend, Joan.
My late husband met David when they were both receiving treatment at "Grand River " Cancer Centre.
A friendship grew from their mutual interests like history and geography. We both enjoyed dinners out, visits and great conversation with him and Joan. David was a unique individual and will be dearly missed.
Sincerely, Betty Siegfried

Our sincere condolences …..to David’s family and “ HIS PAL “ Joan ….he was a fine handsome gentleman always with a smile and a glad to see you greeting , sent best email s ….right up to the end …
We met David and Agnes some 38 yrs ago when we all found this wonderful community in uptown Waterloo
Chippendale , we shared ..many events….over the years
David started a Christmas gathering for neigbours @ BLOOM …CONESTOGO COLLEGE
WHICH I later was asked by him to assist …with …he loved a good time and a glass of red wine !!
My first meeting with DAVID ,,I replied upon hearing his name ..” MR LIVINGSTON I PRESUME “
To which he quickly explained …yes the famous Mr Livingston was a distance relative !!
To this day I’m not sure if a good story or was true …no matter …DAVID WAS A FINE MR LIVINGSTON !
May you rest in peace old friend , I will miss you and you great emails …SINCERELY ROZ PETT
