On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, our Angel on Earth, Mary Frances (Kuntz) Karn was called home to Jesus in her 99th year.

She will be missed by her daughters, Joanne (Jim) Charette, Kelly (Don) Holme, Carolyn (Joe) Burjoski and her 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Marc, Michele, Jennifer, Melissa, Peter, Jenna, Katie, Sarah, and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Sandra (Jim) Beingessner. Predeceased by her dear husband Jack. Mary was a talented artist having attended the Cleveland School of Art. Along with painting for her own pleasure, she taught art to adults and youth, and worked as a free lance artist.  She also participated in art exhibitions with local artists.

Mary was a bright light spiritually, and an inspirational prayer partner. She chronicled her spiritual journey in her book The Deepest Longing: A Roadmap to Hope. Mary will be remembered for her open arms, huge welcoming smile and her unwavering faith in God. She was never afraid of death and looked forward to spending eternity with Jesus.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” John 11:25.
