Obituary of Brian Walter Gamble

Passed on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Hamilton General Hospital, Ontario. Brian was born on February 3, 1953, in Summerside, PEI.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judy Ann (née Smith), his daughter, Opal (Scott), his son, Jason (Morgan) and his two grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law, Janet (John Guidry), Joyce (Hayward Harrison), and Sharon Gamble, several nieces and nephews and their families, his in-laws George and Ann Smith, and his extended family.

He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Anne Gamble (née Philipson), and his brother, Christopher Gamble. Brian was the last surviving member of his family.

Brian loved riding his bicycle, his motorcycle and reading. He worked at CN Marine as a teenager and then worked with NCR for 32 years, where he held several job titles.

He was willing to help everyone and will be missed by his family and friends.

The family wants to thank the paramedics, staff at Grand River Hospital Emergency, and the staff of 7 South of Hamilton General Hospital for their help and support in making Brian’s last hours easier.
