On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Louise passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour.

Mom was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, and also lived in Calgary, Toronto, and Waterloo. She was the youngest of her family and was predeceased by her parents, three sisters, and brother.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce in 2008.

Mother of Elaine (Jack Bush, deceased), Ken (Bonnie), Diane Stoddard (Brian), Sandy Cucci (Sal, deceased), Linda Forth (Michael), and Gord (Anne).

Grandmother of Amanda Smith (Ryan), Veronica Hall (Alexander), Ben Stoddard (Alexandra), Darryl Stoddard (Melanie), Tim Stoddard (Laura Martin), Leo Cucci, Livia Cucci, Sophie Cucci, Nathan Forth, Kaitlyn Forth, and Abigail Bell.

Great-grandmother of Chloe, Toby, and Willow Hall; Brady and Grayson Smith; Naomi and Margot Stoddard.

Mom loved Jesus, chocolate, gardening, shopping for bargains, golf, butterscotch sundaes, and the colour pink. She was a very social person, and welcomed anyone and everyone into her home for a meal and a visit. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an accomplished seamstress and tennis player.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Clair Hills Retirement Home for their exceptional care of mom for the last four years. Thank you also to the caring and compassionate staff on the Palliative Care Unit at WRHN Chicopee.

Visitation and a Celebration of Life will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., and Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow, and there will be chocolate! You are encouraged to wear something pink to honour Louise’s colourful personality.

In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
