Obituary of Verna Mae Weber

Passed peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Survived by sister-in-law, Margaret (Shantz) Weber.

Predeceased by her parents Orphen and Catherine Weber and siblings Mary Yoder (Ray), Vera Martin (Earl), Lewis Weber and David Weber. 

Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.

Verna was dedicated to her career as a registered nurse at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll where for many years she was the night supervisor. In addition, her flower beds were full and beautiful, and she always had some painting or stitching project on the go. 

Verna’s family deeply appreciates the care provided by the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home Assisted Living and, for the last 14 years, at Heritage House in St. Jacobs, Ontario. She felt at home.

There will be a private interment at Hagey Cemetery in Cambridge at a future date.
