Nadia and I were friends since we were two years old, sharing childhood memories at brownies and dance lessons, teen years, marriages, children and grandchildren, and a birthday card back and forth even when we couldn’t spend time together. Dog walks, coffee, ice cream and chats have been missed recently as we both became busy with our separate lives. I am so sorry that I wasn’t there for Nadia when she really needed that old friend, and I know that although we weren’t together, we were in each other’s memories and hearts. Our daughters, Tanya and Michelle were friends, too - enjoying dance recitals and treats together. My sincere condolences to Tanya and family. Nadia was a very, very special person and good friend. Nadia will stay in my heart for the rest of my life. I can’t turn time back, but wish I had tried harder to re-unite.
