September 28, 1933 – June 14, 2026

After a lifetime of active community engagement, Audrey Reitzel died peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Hospice Waterloo Region.

Audrey will be missed by her family and by her many friends. Audrey lived her long life to the fullest. Although Audrey lived her whole life in Kitchener-Waterloo, she enjoyed extensive world travel. She possessed a memorable laugh and she laughed often. 

The family thanks the staff at Parkwood Suites, the staff and volunteers at Hospice Waterloo Region and the CarePartners palliative care nursing team for their compassionate care.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 10 a.m., with Fr. Phil Reilly officiating. Reception to follow in the Erb & Good Fireside Reception Room, 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
