Obituary of Rosemarie Duemer

February 10, 1928 - June 18, 2026

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosemarie Duemer, who died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday June 18, 2026.

Rosemarie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marianne Duemer, and son-in-law Brad; her grandson Garrett Schwartz and his wife Natalie; her granddaughter Breanna Schwartz and her husband Dylan; and her four cherished great-granddaughters, Ava, Evie, Lenna, and Emmelina.

She will also be remembered by her nephews in Germany, Helmut Brod and his wife Vera, and Günther Brod and his wife Ulrike. 

Rosemarie lived a full and colourful life. A talented pattern designer, she had a gift for creating beauty with her hands. She loved to travel, embrace adventure, and experience all that life had to offer. Known for her witty humour, spunky spirit, and her joyful outlook, Rosemarie often reminded those around her that “my cup runneth over.” Her warmth, laughter, and zest for life will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at New Apostolic Church, 160 Margaret Avenue, Kitchener, on Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of the life of a truly special woman whose love and faith touched many lives.
