With faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Kenneth Fredrick Arndt who was called home to the Lord on Monday  June 15, 2026 at the age of 92. Surrounded by the love of family and strengthened by faith, he entered into God’s eternal peace.

Survived by his wife Marjorie (Daniells) of 66 years. His children Steven (Janice), Gregory (Jeanette), Allen (Sharon), Carolyn (Dave), Avril (Mark), and Bradley (Tuzee).  His grandchildren Justin (Kathleen), Bethany (Adam),  Emily (Jeremy), Matthew (Emma), Amy, Lucas (Alicia), Nathan, Joshua, Liam, Rachel, Akeesha, and Alivia.  His great grandchildren Kenneth, Josiah, Thomas, Norah, Claire, Saelah, and Alfred. His sister Ruth (Kenneth) Bauman,  sister in-laws Maryellen Arndt and Martha Arndt, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ernst & Frieda, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Kenneth worked as a carpenter and church custodian until his retirement.  He was an active member of a Pigeon Club and enjoyed racing and raising pigeons.  He also raised bunnies, chickens and quail, often sharing the babies with his grandkids.  He loved gardening and took great pride in the colour combinations of his gladiolus and sweet peas.  Throughout the growing season, he delighted in sharing an endless supply of fresh bouquets with his family.  He was an avid Maple Leaf fan although you wouldn’t know it when the game was on.  Ken was a devoted family man who loved his wife dearly and cherished every opportunity to spend time with his family.  He spoiled the grandkids with candies and treats, sometimes right before dinner.  He enjoyed singing hymns, playing the harmonica and being in the church choir.  His faith in God was an important part of his life and guided him throughout the years.
