Obituary of Hilton Kin

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Hilton (Boetie), who passed on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Yuk-Ping and his daughters, Melinda and Paula. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Janey, Ellen, and Nelson, along with his nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Hilton was born in South Africa and moved to Canada with his family in 2011. Some of Hilton’s favourite hobbies was to tinker with broken items or try out new cooking recipes. Hilton will be forever remembered for his generosity and quiet nature, and will be deeply missed.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Waterloo Regional Health Network Renal Clinic for their support and care of Hilton over the past few years.

Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
