Passed away peacefully at Waterloo Regional Health Network – Chicopee on Thursday, July 16, 2026, surrounded by the care and compassion of those who supported her in her final days.

Audrey was the beloved wife of the late John and a devoted mother to Diane Szasz (Randy) of Coldstream, British Columbia, Robyn Sept (Darrell) of Beaumont, Alberta, Jeffrey (Linda) of Waterloo, Ontario, and Philip (Riel) of Ottawa, Ontario. She was a cherished grandmother to Colin, Bryan, Alexandra, Taylor, MacKenzie, Ella, Sydney, Connor, and Jordan, and a proud great-grandmother to Willa, Ian, and Olivia. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, John, and by her sisters, Ivy and Dorothy.

Audrey lived a life of faith, service, and kindness. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo, where she found great joy singing in the senior choir. She also dedicated many years of service as a registration clerk at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she was known for her warmth and helpful nature. An avid gardener, Audrey found happiness in tending her flowers and creating beauty wherever she lived. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who will remember her for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and quiet strength.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Waterloo Regional Health Network – Chicopee for the exceptional care, comfort, dignity, and respect shown to Audrey during her final days. They also wish to thank the dedicated staff of Chartwell Terrace on the Square for their kindness and support. Your care will never be forgotten.
