Obituary of Phyllis Sara Mueller

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our mother, Phyllis Mueller (nee Hentges), at the age of 95 years. On the morning of August 10, 2026, she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband Gardener Mueller in 2004, her grandson Zachary in 2014 and many beloved family members over the years. She is survived by her loving brother Allen and her cherished sister Gaynor. She will be greatly missed by all our family both near and far and those in Scotland. 

Phyllis was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law. She had an incredible zest for life which brought her many travel adventures and a passion for a diverse collection of music, movies, books and recipes. She was an incredibly generous person who while raising her children still found time to volunteer for the Kidney Foundation, and work for the Red Cross serving those in need in her community. Phyllis was a huge baseball fan, and her favourite pastime was watching her Toronto Blue Jays. We will miss watching the games with her. She kept her witty sense of humour right until the end and we had many laughs together.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
