Obituary of Kelly Lee Burroughes

Passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Kitchener, Ontario.

Survived by her daughter Samantha Burroughes, brother Cody, half siblings Gregory Prince and Sharon Stead, aunt Kim Burroughes and dear cousins Rochelle and Lee, and her best friend Shane and his daughter Tianna and many cherished friends.

Predeceased by her mother Kathleen Burroughes.

Kelly loved music and especially enjoyed singing and playing her guitar, often sharing her love of music at places like the Legion and Victoria Park with Shane. She adored her beloved dog, Marcy. She had a wonderful sense of humour, always ready to make people laugh or tell a good joke. Kelly was almost always smiling, and when she did, her whole face lit up – something so many people loved about her. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, making memories and enjoying the simple things in life. Kelly was always happy, kind, and gentle in spirit and she always made time for the people she cared about. Her warmth, laughter, beautiful smile, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held at a future date.
