Obituary of John Joseph Hefford

Passed away on August 25, 2026, at Midtown Hospital after a long battle with illness.

Survived by his beloved wife Margaret; his sons Matthew (Kelly) and Joseph (Nicole); his grandchildren Olivia, Colin, and Emma; and his sisters Sue (John) and Mary (John).

Predeceased by his parents Mel and Betty.

John will be remembered for his love of driving long distances and being on the road. To his grandchildren he meant everything; he always had a big smile and a funny sense of humour.

Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of John’s life at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Memories to be shared at 2:30 p.m.
