Obituary of Brian Taylor
Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday January 18, 2013 at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Nancy Taylor (nee Fletcher) for 45 years. Loving and proud father of Brian (Barb) Taylor, and Judy (Neil) MacLeod; cherished Poppy of Megan and Samantha Taylor, Michael and Matthew MacLeod, and dear brother to Mrs. Karen Dingwall of Toronto. Will be missed by Father William Dingwall OCSO, Suzie and Rod Williams, Brian Dingwall and John and Tanya Dingwall.
Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Margaret Taylor (nee Polzin), and brother-in-law William G. Dingwall, Q.C.
Brian was a dedicated and successful businessman having spent 40 years at Waterloo Manufacturing. He was President and owner until his retirement. He was also actively involved in K-W Octoberfest for many years.
Brian and Nancy were always connected to family and friends by the water. Whether swimming with their children and grandchildren at their home in Waterloo or as "Snowbirds" relaxing by the pool in Siesta Key. Water was a part of their daily lives. So many wonderful memories of laughter and happiness came from the cottage on beautiful Lake of Bays.
He loved fully with all of his heart.
He managed his health with dignity and diligence the best that he could.
He lived every moment with his adoring wife Nancy by his side.
He will be forever missed and remembered.
Special thanks to Dr. Raymond Gottschalk and Dr. Clive Davis from Hamilton General Hospital for the care given to Brian.
