Obituary of Velma Eveleigh

Eveleigh, Eunice Velma "Evie" 1910 - 2013 Passed away peacefully at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo on Saturday, January 19, 2013, age 102. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Elaine Preston of Scarborough, Douglas Eveleigh of Kincardine, Marjorie Eveleigh of Waterloo, Pauline (Michael) Prashad of Hamilton, Vickie (Doug) Waechter of Fergus, Howard (Darlene) Eveleigh of Alberta, David (Cathy) Eveleigh of Drayton and James Rae of Alberta. Will be fondly missed by great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by her sister Blanch Rae, and brothers Jack, James and Norman Eveleigh. Evie was a KW Grad, and had worked at KW Hospital for 36 years as a Registered Nurse, and mainly in the blood bank laboratory. She was a Charter member of Parkminster United Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Velma with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and will continue at Parkminster United Church, 275 Erb Street East Waterloo on Thursday January 24, 2013 from 1p.m. until the time of the service at 2p.m. Cremation to follow.
