Obituary of Norman Beach

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., on February 4, 2013, age 89 years, of Waterloo Ontario, formerly of Petersburg. Loving husband of the late Vera nee Tessmer. Dear father of Allan Beach (Sue Hache) and Gary Beach (Joanne). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren David (Heather) Beach, Crystal (Marvin) Singh, Stephanie (Matt) Goertz, Adam, Rianne ,and Jonathan Beach and Danielle Hache. Great grandfather of Mikaila and Joshua Beach and Benjamin Singh. Brother-in-law of Don Tessmer. Fondly remembered by Brenda and Rick Reader. Norman was born July 13, 1923 in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan to parents Asa Benjamin Caleb Beach and Elizabeth Silpha Wolf. Moved with his parents to Regina, Saskatchewan in 1926 and to Glenworth, Saskatchewan in 1930. In 1947, after his father's death, he came east with his mother to Toronto. He later moved to Kitchener where he met Vera M. Tessmer and they were married in June 1949. Norman served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was a long time employee of McDonald Electric/Westburne. A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Petersburg, on Tuesday February 12th, 2:00pm, Rev. Richard Orlowski officiating. Reception to follow at the church.
